Superbrain
The Superbrain is the mind of each Verbll simulated person. It covers memory, attention, emotion and decisions. All of them run as algorithms. The core has no language model.
What the Superbrain does
- Learns a scene the first time it sees it. It stored an 8 MB photograph in one pass, in about a tenth of a second on our test machine.
- Recalls in milliseconds. Recall of the stored photograph took a few milliseconds of pipeline time in our test run.
- Strengthens memory with use. Every learned fact keeps its source.
- Has no language model inside, so there is no model bill for each person you add.
- Reaches out only when it must. At a gap in knowledge it searches the web or asks an outside AI model, then remembers the answer.
Training done differently
Verbll does not train on datasets. We study what people do to improve their own minds, try each method on ourselves, and build the methods that work into the algorithm flow of the Superbrain.
